As the tomboy-type, I really rarely care about being fru-fru and moisturized. Oddly though, looking back over my blog, 'round about February I really to tend to care about moisturizer make up, new clothes and participate in swap bot. I can't say I know why. Possibly its the dreary sub-zero days of winter, being cooped up due to slippery sidewalks and blasting cold air on my cheeks. Something makes be grab any and all available modes of self care and a certain euphoria that goes with the tiniest beauty effort and friendship. I have piles of necklaces hanging from hooks on my craft room wall, none of them have been worn, or sold. I have started shopping in my own area. I procured 2 new skirts this week. One is a pretty pale pink with asymmetrical hem and pretty lace accents, one is a plain angle length with a simple ruffle along the edge in brown, but with loops and ties that allows the wearer to hike up the hem in 3 different places, making the whole skirt very cha-cha. I signed up for a sample product of dead sea lotions. Not awesome enough to allow for a 100$ a month charge and renewal, but awesome enough to go ahead and pay 30$ to keep the sample gift basket. Sigh. I've even entertained a haircut. Maybe some make up.
