So here it is. these will get better people. one of these day...I swear

So, this has been a week from...well a week.  My nephew had a list of things he had to get done that was court ordered after getting in trouble a while ago.  Among those were to get a job, get a car, finish high school, go see a counselling and get some community service done.  Well, we got him a car.  He did nothing else.  To top it off, he didn't show up for his last court date.  I get a phone call from him telling me he gets to spend 5 days in jail.  he said its "no big deal" and that he "chose it over more community service."  I hope it sucks.  I hope it sucks so bad.  I am so tired.  he really has no idea how tired I am.  Just done.

Mom went to see her sister in Colorado.  Now that she is alone, I suppose I have been pretty protective of her.  I never really loved the idea of her going so far alone.  But, she is an adult and she needs to go do things.  She was supposed to be home today, but yesterday she woke up with chest pains and she is now in the hospital in Colorado.  They have done test after test and cant find anything wrong.  They think its stress and anxiety.  all of us have been going through a kind of delayed reaction to dad being gone.  I have found myself crying almost every day.  You would think it would have been that way when it happened, but its not.

I just want my mom home.  I miss her and I'm worried and I just need to hug her.

In other news, I really hate that confectioners burner on my stove that turns on and shuts off all the time.  What the hell is that burner for?  If I'm going to stand there and saute meat, the least it could do is have the common decency to cook it.  Now.  Today. before I get old.

Tonight I'm making philly cheese steak sammiches.

I ran out of work in my region.  So I have to work on my day off tomorrow.  I made 3 bells and a wind chime out of some recycled wine bottles.  pretty cool.

I cant wait until my kiln is hooked up again.  I miss it.

I was hired to make 2 nursing hats.  you know, those baby beanies that look like ta-tas?  Yeah.  Easy 30 bucks.   maybe I'll get those whipped out tonight.  or maybe I should find some flesh colored yarn for those boobies...
