So my B12 is on the high side of normal. this is a big deal because most GB patients have a hard time keeping their B12 levels up and some have to go in for injections. I've been using nettles for their protein and vitamin levels almost every day. I don't even have to take a multi anymore. My laboratory studies are good without all the pills. Wooo!
Today I put together a package for a friend with some dried wild herbs to try and a few home made postcards. I have another friend that wants the antelope horns I have in my closet for his son's wildlife room and I etched a pretty jar for his wife with butterflies and the word "tea" and filled it with Bee Balm (Wild bergamont). She has a friend who wants to try some, so I sent plenty. Hopefully, she can use the jar again for other things which was my intent.
I would like to etch quite a few of these jars and put them on my website, but glass is so hard to photograph. I can't seem to get a good picture. No one is going to buy something they can't see well. So, I guess I'll just recycle them for myself and friends until I can figure out how to take a good picture.
I made stir fry for supper. It sucks because I always overdo it when eating rice. I just can feel full until its too late when I'm eating it. Now I feel barfy. I think its because I can't really 'chew' rice enough to force myself to eat really slow...I don't know. Its my own fault either way.
Tomorrow I'm taking the kids to the Dunn Co fair. Its wristband day and I thought Emma would enjoy looking at the animals and stuff. I hope its not rainy. Oy, I don't feel well. I'm going to go walk off this rice...
for the glass jars, try filling them with something that is pretty consistent in colour: sand, rose buds, coffee beans, or whatever you plan on putting in it, just not white.
ReplyDeletewhen you photograph it, try to have a light shining indirectly on it from your left and your right, basically 45 degrees. that should help neutralize the glare.
you might need to fiddle with it, but it will probably be easier than building a lightbox.
