christmas

The house is decorated.  I found this big candlestick thing with a shade at the junk store down the street.  It was painted white and all rusty and the shade was rusty and black.   it was only 3 dollars, marked down from 6 and I brought it home.  I cleaned the base and painted it black.  The shade I painted a kind of barn/earthy red.  Its about 3 feet tall and holds one of those big pillar candles, or round...anyway, it turned out cute and sits nicely at the base of the steps. A little greenery and a bow and its christmasy, but can be regular after its all over with.

Then I took an old sheet I had and took it to mom to be cut into a circle and surged.  The top sheets never wear out like the bottoms and they sure do make a nice table cloth when the bottom sheets are out of comission.  I can have a white one, green, nascar, barbie...the possibilities!

I like my new house.  I think though, I need to convince myself that I don't need to pee when I am upstairs.  I think the only reason I always have to pee is because I am upstairs.  The steps are dangerous, steep and different sizes and once your up here, you really just want to stay until your done.  The thing is, being up here seems to trigger bladder reflexes.  I always can pee when I'm up here.
