Tomorrow the furnace people come in to put in the duct work for the new furnace.  This house previously ran on gravity heat distribution, so there is no duct work going to the upstairs at all.  It would be fine for just heat, but we did buy that central air conditioner before we left the farm and next summer I might want to use it :)

I got up at 7 this morning and took a walk.  Something I haven't done for several weeks and my body misses the regular exercise.  The weight isn't coming off as fast and well, I'm not going to stop now, nor will I ever go back to the weight I was.  No friggin way.  I need to make time and focus.  Stop drinking beer and go back to wine, eat better, especially now that I am able to eat more like a regular person now.  I need to focus on what I want again.  Mostly, I need to exercise EVERY DAY.  Ugh.  I actually chewed myself out in the mirror this morning.  I wonder how in the hell I was able to put everything that had to do with my weight, that took up every second of my existence only 9 months ago, was slid onto the back burner.  Well, no more.  The spaz is back and I intend to go out of this year having lost 200 pounds.   SPaz...Spaz...

Sure enough, Saturday was the prelude to my monthly happy time.  After a day of crabby and ranting, Emma walked up to me and said, "Mama?  You tired?"  Usually when she starts acting like a cranky psycho, I tell her she's tired.  The rule should apply to me too right?

I can't wait until this month is done.  I really want to get up to the cabin and stay.  Maybe do some squirrel hunting, have a friend or 2 up while the weather is still nice.  this month is so full of action, ending with Rebecca probably having to get tubes in her ears after the tonsil removal fail last spring.   Oh it wasn't in vain.  She did have a bad tonsil, its just that the action was thought to fix the ear problem as well, which is hasn't.  Consult day in on the 27th, if they decide on tubes, it will probably be done shortly after.

I sing at a wedding on the 22nd and damned well better make time to get that music right as well.

My sister in law is coming on Saturday to take Dean's senior pictures at the Devil's Punchbowl.
