Today

Today we moved a lot of things.  Yesterday my friend Marty helped and we had fun.  Today though, I wanted to take the day and clean up what was here while the guys brought more stuff.  This house is so much easier to keep in order than the other one, but its not maintenence free and I had yet to do the weekend cleaning with the scrubbing of the tub, sinks, and floors.  I got it all done though and it looks really nice.  I have to say I love it here.

We are really close to being done and i think, after we got all the stuff left by the previous people, that Curt actually has more room in this garage than he did at the old house.  I think he is realizing it too.  While I don't approve of his working on cars here and making a mess, I think he can tinker just fine.

Closets.  This place has closets that are kind of--outside of the bedrooms...I got creative.  The one near the kitchen got some shelves and is now a pantry.  The one upstairs in the office area is my sewing nook.  When I say nook, I mean nook.  On the other hand, all my stuff is together in one place, not all over the bedroom being thrown around by my cohabitor and ending up on the floor...trampled and buried.
There is room and shelves to either side as well and my chair fits in the doorway quite well.
While I am working, emma is usually in her room entertaining herself and watching movies.  She does a pretty good job of keeping herself entertained for the 6 hours I have to work.  The other day though, she was bored and kept hanging on me.  I broke out the paints for the very first time and let Emma go to town.  She colored for 2 hours!!!

I have a picture, but there seems to be technical difficulties.
Tomorrow is the state testing thing Luke has to do every year.  Usually I have my laptop and I can work right from the hotel, but this year I am laptopless :)
1.  I hope Luke can get done in 1 day.
2. What will I do for 8 hours?
3.  I hate state testing.

I don't feel well tonight.  My stomach is really upset.  Yuck.

  2. I hope you feel better soon. It really helps to get your house in order...I'm still working on that, after my last move.
